Tesla has already been in talks with Ontario officials about a potential Gigafactory in Canada.

The Wall Street Journal says Tesla is reconsidering its strategy in order to qualify for US EV and battery manufacturing tax credits.

That’s a significant jump from the earlier run rate of 5-15 vehicles a day; report claims the daily output will soon reach 50-60 cars.

Cylindrical cells with a diameter of 46 mm and different heights (46xx) should be ready in 2023.

Like other legacy carmakers, Ford cannot compete with Tesla’s direct sales model, so it is trying to find ways to make its EVs cheaper.

The manufacturer has made no mention of this so far, but we’re pretty sure they are coming, maybe as early as next year.

Up to six fully electric Porsche models will be on sale by 2030.

The first one was announced in July and will be built in Kansas.

The company says it doesn’t make 4680-type cylindrical battery cell vehicles in China.

It could potentially boost the driving range by 10% or so.
