The automotive industry is experiencing a rapid shift towards electric vehicles (EVs) as governments and consumers alike strive to reduce carbon emissions and minimize their environmental impact. In line with this trend, E-Cite and ClearMarket have announced the launch of an all-EV dealership network, with the opening of their first location in Cerritos, CA.
The exactCar brand, offered by E-Cite and ClearMarket, promises customers in and around Cerritos a modern automotive buying and selling experience. The dealership is located in the Cerritos Auto Square, the world’s largest automall, giving the EV brand visibility to over 300,000 commuters per day.
The exactCar E-Cite dealership in Cerritos is the brand’s first location in the U.S. and marks the beginning of a nationwide distribution and service network that is expected to cover 48 states and reach 100% of the U.S. population by 2025. The partnership between E-Cite and ClearMarket combines ClearMarket’s expertise in automotive marketplaces and dealership operations with E-Cite’s ability to design and build specialized EV vehicles.
ClearMarket CEO, Kevin Azzouz, noted that “EV platform-based vehicle development will continue to empower high quality, highly specialized market-driven custom vehicle creators to take more market share over the next few years. E-Cite has demonstrated their ability to deliver specialized vehicles that address consumer market segments that are underserved with today’s vehicle offerings. We’re very excited to join E-Cite in pursuing this new automotive market trend.”
The upcoming exactCar Ecite ecommerce website will allow consumers to purchase cars online, while brick-and-mortar dealerships will provide a physical location for consumers to take delivery of their new E-Cite EV from a trusted dealership nearby. E-Cite’s next-generation website and physical EV dealerships are part of a hybrid digital-physical commerce model, following consumer trends showing that most consumers start the car shopping process online but want to buy a car in-person at a dealership.
E-Cite’s COO, Gene Langmesser, stated that “Knowing that the sales and service process will be handled using the most refined and technologically advanced processes allows us to focus on our core competency which is to design and build iconic EV Vehicles.”
This launch marks a significant step forward for the EV industry, as E-Cite and ClearMarket aim to provide consumers with a unique and specialized automotive buying and selling experience. As the world moves towards a more sustainable future, initiatives such as this will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the transition to a cleaner, greener transportation sector.
